The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) is a cooperative society that provides services related to the execution of secure financial transactions and payments between banks worldwide.
ISO 20022 is the newest SWIFT messaging type that is an open global standard that providing consistent, rich and structured data for every kind of financial transaction. Early adoption has already begun, and general availability will begin in November of 2022. There will be a three-year period of coexistence for MX and MT.
The MIMICS SWIFT Interface gives the functionality of MIMICS producing SWIFT-formatted messages (both MX and MT) at the appropriate steps in the process, such as when transactions are approved, or settlement date, etc., and sending those messages to the SWIFT Alliance. This can be done via an MQ series, a file transfer or copy/paste method, and we will work with you to determine the best method, as well as to configure automation settings.
