A Disaster Recovery instance of your MIMICS software can be licensed to run directly on a disaster recovery server in your network. We can install the instance remotely to either a physical or virtual server, per your discretion.
If you prefer to keep a hot backup of the MIMICS software, any updates to MIMICS software on the primary server must also be made to the backup server. Then the following options are available:
• The MIMICS Disaster Recovery license will allow a running version of the MIMICS software on your disaster recovery server.
• MIMICS can assist with data replication services if so desired.
• MIMICS systems back up their own data during their End of Day process, and these backups can be configured to be written to a different server.
• We recommend that your IT team create its own layer of backing up the server as well.
• MIMICS can work with your IT to ensure seamless failover from the production server to the DR server.
