MIMICS offers two database options, for your convenience, both of which are full-featured, easily embedded, relational database management systems.
Microsoft SQL Server is frequently already deployed by many organizations’ IT departments for relational, non-relational, structured and unstructured data. It offers exceptional scalability and performance to improve the stability and response time of your database. The number of users depends on the type of SQL license purchased – for most clients, the Standard version is fine. SQL is licensed separately by the client, and MIMICS includes the Netlib Encryptionizer tool in the pricing. The sales team will provide you with our SQL Server Policy for additional information.
SAP Sybase Advantage encrypts its own database, and offers both SQL and ISAM data access. This option is licensed for you by MIMICS and can be installed and managed without the need of a database administrator. The license cost is based upon the number of concurrent users.
SQL:
- Licensed independently by client
- Encryption added by MIMICS by Netlib Encryptionizer (fee applies as SQL Upgrade)
- Number of users depends on SQL license purchased (no additional MIMICS fee)
Advantage:
- Licensed for you by MIMICS
- Encryption included (no additional MIMICS licensing fee)
- Extra fee for number of desired concurrent users
