MIMICS Teller Software can organize, monitor and streamline your entire teller operation. This front-end module can facilitate any type of receipt or deposit, and process disbursements or other types of payments, to the full range of teller functions including cashing checks, currency exchange, CD management, loan payments, as well as remittances.
Multiple contacts, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses may be recorded; both business and individual contacts can be saved. The Email Option can connect the CRM to your email application to streamline outgoing group emails and attachments. Account holders' electronic signatures and ID images are stored for security verification. The Teller system also has KYC (Know Your Customer) capabilities, which is the due diligence and bank regulation that financial institutions and other regulated companies must perform to identify their clients and relevant information pertinent to anti-money laundering regulations.
Any number of operation locations (branches) can be configured. Each location can have any number of Teller Tills, and can have a Chief Teller Till and a Chief Teller Reserve. Cash can be transferred between Chief Teller Tills at different locations, between the Chief Teller Till and Teller Tills at one location, and between Teller Tills at one location.
The MIMICS Teller module can handle the receipt of payments for any purpose, including for account deposits, for deposit into an investment, or for payment of a loan or insurance premiums. The MIMICS Teller can interface with other MIMICS modules that handle the back-end processing for these features (including the MIMICS Customer Portfolio, MIMICS CD/Debt Issuance, MIMICS Loan Processing, and MIMICS Annuity Modules), or can interface with third-party modules for these purposes.
The system can print receipts that have been customized to the format you require. Multiple different receipt templates can be configured for different payment types. Receipt templates can include logos, signatures or other custom features.
Account withdrawals can be handled in the system. This system can interface with the MIMICS Payment Processing module to facilitate payment in multiple methods, including by Check (including Cashier's Checks and Money Orders), Direct Deposit, Credit Advice, ACH, SWIFT and RTGS. The MIMICS Teller System can also act as the front-end for other modules to facilitate disbursement of funds.
Till balancing/auditing can be facilitated in the system. The Teller may be required to manually enter the till balances for each denomination, which the system will then compare to the recorded value in the system. Audit reports and notifications can be produced based on the results. Other till auditing rules can be configured regarding required auditing of tills by the chief teller, etc.
Other Teller features are available, including cashing checks and making change, mutilated note redemption.
The system can be configured to require approval for different features. These approval rules can be customized to fit your operations.
Maintain personal and business checking accounts allowing Customer Deposits, Customer Withdrawals, and Transfers between accounts. Customer deposits and withdrawal transactions include selecting a customer, entering the amount to deposit or withdraw, account selection, source of funds, pending deposit information, and hold funds options. Account Transfer allows selecting the account to be transferred from and the account to be transferred to, based on the accounts available for transfer and the customer selected.
Maintain personal and business savings accounts allowing Customer Deposits, Customer Withdrawals, Rollovers and Transfers between accounts. Customer deposits and withdrawal transactions include selecting a customer, entering the amount to deposit or withdraw, account selection, source of funds, pending deposit information, and hold funds options. Account Transfer allows selecting the account to be transferred from and the account to be transferred to, based on the accounts available for transfer and the customer selected.
Loan payments can be made directly to the teller. The teller can view the current loan payment information and history. The payment can be for full amounts, partial amounts and for overpayments. The customer can, according to parameters set by the user, determine how to apply the overpayment. If an allowable overpayment effects the amortization schedule, a new schedule can be prepared for the customer immediately.
The Teller system allows for exchanges in any currencies. Exchange rates can be set for the day or at any intervals required. Direct or indirect rates can be used in the calculation. The system accounts for cash and coin of all currencies. Cash drawers can be reconciled at the end of the day or at any time between. Statistics regarding the customer is maintained for KYC purposes.
The Teller system allows easy issuance of certificates to holders. It allows them to make deposits and withdrawals, and recalculates interest accordingly. The system contains all the procedures of paying agent for the securities. Interest payments can be made by check or direct deposit. Checks can be printed on blank safety stock or in any other format. A check register is updated with new payments by check and the register can be maintained by entering cleared or voided checks.
The Teller system allows for remittance payments in any currency that can be deposited to the appropriate account.
The MIMICS CRM System provides more flexibility with handling customer accounts and interfaces seamlessly with the MIMICS Teller Module. It allows for the consolidated reporting on the customers' assets and liabilities. It consolidates their various checking, savings, and other accounts and allows transfers between them. All communications with the customers are maintained; documents can be saved and managed; signatories are managed; and history and statistics on the accounts are held.
Full audit logs are tracked of all activity in the system, including timestamps, user IDs, and computers used at the time.
Reports show customer account information, status, and customer activity. The reports also track teller balances and counter books.
