Company Overview
In 1976 MIMICS developed one of its first software products, a Back Office System for a municipal bond brokerage house in Kansas City, Missouri. Shortly thereafter, we started designing similar Back Office products for other bonds, fed funds and repurchase agreements. The MIMICS systems became multi-user products in 1988 with Novell and Microsoft networking capabilities.
In 1996, MIMICS began converting its systems to Windows applications. Prototypes were developed using both Microsoft Visual Basic and Borland Delphi. The Delphi environment was chosen using the Btrieve Record Management System for the “robustness” of the development environment and the wide range of features. We have now redesigned all of our systems in the Delphi/Advantage environment, and during this process we expanded our product line to include new systems such as Loan Processing and Hedge Funds.
Today, we are enhancing our systems with special features such as e-mailing and scanning capabilities. The systems are also being fitted with decision-making and analysis features in order to make our clients more competitive in their industry. All products are being integrated more tightly to form a Financial ERP system. Hand held and mobile applications are being developed.
Everyday we strive to provide our clients with the best service in the industry, and we strive to design systems which will help our clients succeed in tomorrow’s market.
